About Aphelion

We came from
the opposite direction.

Most AI consultancies started with the technology and bolted on change management. We started with the hardest part of any transformation — getting people to actually use it.

Our story

Built on the hardest part of transformation.

Every major technology change programme has two sides. There is the technology side — the platforms, the integrations, the architecture. And there is the human side — the behaviours, the confidence, the culture that determines whether anyone actually uses what you built.

For decades, the human side was treated as an afterthought. Organisations invested millions in the right platforms, then wondered why adoption plateaued at 30%. Why the AI pilot that worked brilliantly in proof of concept never made it to production. Why the business case never materialised.

Aphelion was founded by practitioners who spent their careers on the human side — leading the change, enablement and capability work that made large-scale technology investments actually deliver. When the AI era arrived, it didn't change the problem. It made it more urgent.

"The gap between deployment and adoption is where most transformation value is lost. We exist to close it."

Our approach

A framework built for adoption from day one.

Not ad-hoc advice. A structured, repeatable methodology that has been proven across 40+ programmes — from AI pilots to enterprise-wide transformation.

01
Assess

Diagnostic deep-dive. We map your technology landscape, culture, capability gaps and readiness across six dimensions before recommending anything.

02
Design

Co-created adoption strategy. Change plan, communications architecture, capability framework and metrics baseline — all defined before deployment begins.

03
Enable

Activation and capability building. We deploy change management, training programmes and leadership enablement to drive confident, consistent adoption at pace.

04
Sustain

Embedding and measurement. We track adoption metrics, identify lagging areas and build internal capability so the change outlives the engagement.

What we believe

The principles that
shape everything we do.

01

Adoption before deployment

The adoption strategy should be designed before the platform is chosen, not after it is live. We push clients to think about the human layer from the very first conversation.

02

Technology agnostic, outcome obsessed

We have no platform to sell. Our only interest is whether the change creates the value it was built to deliver — so our advice is always shaped by your outcome, not our commercial relationship with a vendor.

03

Measurable by design

Adoption is not a feeling. We define what success looks like in quantitative terms before the programme begins — and hold ourselves accountable to those metrics throughout and beyond the engagement.

04

Candid, not comfortable

We tell clients what they need to hear, not what is easy to say. If the data, the culture or the leadership is not ready, we say so early — because the cost of polite silence is always higher than honest advice.

Leadership

The people behind
Aphelion.
